Gilbert Blaine Boggs Gilbert Blaine Boggs, 69, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at his residence under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

  He was born Nov. 24, 1955 in Anmoore, WV. He was the son of the late Orland “Boogie Bill” Boggs and Patty Jo Morrison Boggs.

  He retired as an IT Personnel at FEMA.

  He was of the Catholic Faith.

  He is survived by his children, Owen Boggs, (Madi) of Harpers Ferry, WV, Meghan Boggs, of Waynesville, MO, Eireann Boggs, of Frederick, MD, Andrew Boggs (Pauleena), of Frederick, MD, Ciara Boggs, of Harpers Ferry, WV and Chris Martin, of Waynesville, MO; grand-children, Isabella Harder, Tiernan Kines, Braxton Boggs, Deklynn Boggs, Harper Boggs, Lennon Boggs, Alex Martin; sisters, Lisa Federline, of Delray, WV, Crissy Boggs, of Sharpsburg, MD; brothers, Bill Boggs, of Lake Anna, VA and Gary Boggs, of Cumberland, MD; nieces and nephews.

  In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife, Maureen Denney Boggs; sister, Patty Boggs and brother, Donald Boggs.

  A celebration of life to be announced by family at a later date.

  Arrangements are by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson, WV.
